I want to take my digital music library with me (about 3/4 of a TB of FLAC files on a pocket-sized USB drive) on trips in our new RV.
Is there a way to run SB server and a compatible player in the same small Linux device, like a Raspberry Pi or one of the small plug computers, maybe using an iPhone or iPad as a controller? Or is there another (small) one box media server/player solution that can be used with an external USB drive holding the music files?
I am trying to see if there is a way to separate my music system from our laptop, and still keep the number of devices and size down to a minimum. I would combine this with a small dac/headamp combo to drive HD600 phones.
Oh, yeah, it would be nice if all this could run off 12 volts, or be rechargeable...
