First batch of thousands Meridian Explorer DAC/Amps had too hi output impedance, which provide a less good performance.
Be good a recall to these units.

Good to see that meridian took action quickly on this issue  :thumb:

a good objective review with proper measures doesn't hurt after all.

Interesting.  Meridian has a great reputation and I'm glad to see them taking quick action to correct this problem.   It does make me chuckle to think of all of the audiofools raving about how great this DAC is...when the units they were raving about were probably defective.   :lol:

But, not all reviewers have the same gear to provide objective measures. Something to understand.
