Hi, On another site called the Audio Asy$#%, Airtime found this new item. Does this look familiar Wayner? I wanted to send this to your  e-mail but it's not going thru. I was wondering if you could send me yours Wayne. Forums or not, I, or we, need your expertise  Waynster. You must know a wrestling fan that calls you that.........Mark Korda

Nostalgic though I may be for my old A25's, at $750 for just the drivers and electrical parts (cabinets available for another $369), I think one might be able to do better spending the $1100 a pair of these will set you back on a  more modern design. For that matter, vintage A-series Dynas (especially the 25s) are plentiful and you could probably restore a pair nicely for 15-20 cents on the dollar compared to these. Not trying to rain on anybody's parade; you pays your money etc etc.

You can use the much cheaper $50 Seas 27TDFC as well as other tweeter options and save $350. A google search will turn up various crossovers and parts people have used. I believe Madisound had the 27TDFC as the tweeter option for the woofer until they made this kit.

I love the look of that woofer. Been wanting to build one of these for a while.

Unfortunately, Madisound has copied my design.




Other Seas tweeters will not work with the A25 or A25XL, as the cross-over is too low and you will here low level break-up with them.
