New to audio circle and to the audiophile madness.
That being said, I'm setting up my first 2.1 system for listening to music, which will mainly be for vinyl use.
I just purchased a pair of Salk Song Towers with Ribbon Tweeters that will be paired a 10" TC Sounds sub.
I'm now shopping for the amp, preamp, and of course a new record player. I'm pretty sure we are going to purchase a Technics 1200 (I've been scoping eBay), and am considering the Crown XLS 2000, and then finally looking at the Emotiva USP-1 Stereo preamp.
Would that be a solid set up? Or would you have other recommendations for the Amp/Preamp with a budget of ~$1000.
