I made this preamp for myself and it took me a while to put it together as I wanted the best in terms of sound, functionality and looks.

This preamp is based on John Curl's JC-2 circuit with slight variations. It is dual differential FET with class A power supply. It has four inputs and one output. Preamp has full featured remote.

The sound of this preamp is as good as it gets - dynamic, detailed, musical, and sweet. It looks great as well.

I am trying to decide between Aikido that I built and this JC-2, whichever sells first I will keep the other one.
I will provide schematics with the preamp.

Well, that thing sure doesn't look DIY!  Beautiful.

You might want to post the gain and input & output impedance.

Thanks Paul. The amount of time and TOOLS that this baby took to fabricate  :o all that drilling, cutting, snipping...
One of the more complicated projects machining wise.

The gain and impedance measurements are similar to most of the preamps in this category - general linestage preamp, no unexpected or unusual numbers. Googling JC-2 might help.
