Typically I would agree, but when it comes to borderline pedophilia, I tend to have a different opinion.

knowing the directors past history, and association with larry clark its probably a film carefully dedicated to balance exactly that, offset with a statement on the excesses and insanity of youth culture

otho. id like to see it as it probably is entertaining and franco is supposed to be awesome

It really isn't about that. It uses a little bit about that as a joke at the beginning, but thats all you get. That's one reason I love it, the lack of arcing cultural/political opinions. It isn't a film and right and wrong.

If you want it to be though, you'll find it.

I'm not sure there are even any children in the movie except one baby.
