I just picked these up today but the shop had burned them in for a few days.  I needed a smaller pair of sealed on ear or over ear 'phones ergo the purchase.

Non-sound stuff, cool packaging and carry case, two cords, one simple mini to mini one mini to mini with a phone set volume control/mute.  The Momentums are very light and comfortable.  The ear pads are very soft leather and the phones adjust just fine to my giant head.  I'd give the form, fit and finish etc. high marks.

Sound stuff, farg these things sound great!

Rigging:
1. Mac - Audioquest Dragonfly - Momentum and Grado RS-2s (modded fairly hard)
2. Mac - Headroom Total BitHead ....
3. Mac - custom clock - Musical Fidelity X-DAC V8 - Cary SLI-80 ....

I'll report back with more thoughts.

They are reviewed very highly, I was between them(1st) and Amperiors(2nd) myself. Made a trade for Amperiors and love them myself. They are said if I remember correctly to have more low end than the Amperiors-not a bad thing at all just pointing out the only major difference sound wise. They are absolutely awesome looking to me and I bet very comfy...let us know how they continue to break in. My Senns took awhile to finally level off and break in..but you can tell right off the bat in my opinion if the sound is there out of the box. My Amperiors changed around more than any other cans I've owned at first but nothing surprised me compared to the sound I heard new.

Keep us posted....!!! :D

i like it, its well balanced. ive tried amperior in the store, they have rough hi, but have certain raw sound about it. i think the momentum have alot of 650 signature, and what makes this such a great headphones it only need to plug to iphone directly.

cheers

Have you tried the Focal Spirit One headphones, for 250$ they are a steal.Listening to a broken pair might make a difference. I have tried many headphones including Grado, Sennheiser, PSB, ... And still preferred the Focal headphones

With an iPhone you get all the features and a decent sound but with a nice headphone amplifier, you get the power you need for deep bass and sharper soundstage.
Cheers !
