That sounds very interesting. I find I like the more "raspy" bourbons, which I believe comes from more rye.

You are quite right about box wines and with the boxes as you remove the wine the bag inside the box collapses which prevents air from entering and changing the flavor of the wine.

Macallan Single Malt Scotch Whisky. 18 year old.
Soon to be discontinued along with the 10 year according to my local Commonwealth of VA store.
Very nice. Though I am still partial to the Dalwhinnie.
The Commonwealth only carries so much.
They do have a fairly good selection otherwise.

Sammy Hagar started the brand, then sold part of the company for $80 million:

Today it's my wife 53rd birthday and she has invited 10 of her friends (School mates) and for that special event iI had a few sips of rhum, I am no expert in alchool maybe it was something else and she tried to get me drunk, but what the hell, we had fun...

Old Crow bourbon. Part of my "bottom shelf bourbon tour".

I usually like Jim Beam, black label if I'm going to drink it straight, otherwise white label if w/ coke. As often I drink bourbon w/ coke I reckoned even Jim Beam might be too ritzy / pricey, so I'm slowly working my way through the bottom shelf of bourbon's at the local liquor store, with the cut off being about $15 for a fifth (750ML). I think Old Crow is probably the worst so far (even with Coke). Best so far may be Colonel's Pride, followed by Evan Williams, then Kentucky Gentleman.

The bottom shelf stretches pretty far, even w/ the $15 price cut-off, so I don't know how much farther I'm going to stay on this "tour"........

My friends say that I am boring whenm I go out with them.
I don't drink: Beer, wine, alcohol and I don't smoke.
Well, maybe they are wright?

I did drink beer once when I was 18 years old and I got drunk.
I did drink alcohol a few times at parties (Rhum and coke, Kirsh, etc...
and I got sick each time.
I drink a few sips of wine but the taste give's me goose bumps.
Smoking: NEVER !
