SOLD: Transcendent Sound Power Conditioner
« on: 22 Mar 2013, 05:49 pm »
I built this Transcendent BPS http://www.transcendentsound.com/Transcendent/Transcendent_Sound_Power_Supply.html from a kit several years ago.  Since moving to my new location I've discovered that my AC really is quite clean and fresh, and doesn't require the cleaning and scrubbing this fine unit provides.  I boxed it up (double boxed for safe shipping) before carefully inspecting it, so I don't know if it looks perfect or merely very good, but I can unpack it and double check it if pristine cosmetics are important to you.  In any case, it has always worked perfectly.  Mine did not come with any sort of power strip (apparently the new ones do now), and the unit only has one outlet, so you will need a decent quality power strip if you wish to plug more than one thing into it.  Please note that it didn't come with any sort of AC cord, but I can provide a generic one if you like.  Also note that the face is silver, just like the photos on the website.  Asking $175 plus actual shipping and paypal fees... U.S. sales only.

Hi,
Do you know of a good power strip to use? Kinda like the one provided with the new one?

Thanks,
Sam

Hi Sam,

I have no idea what power strip is now provided with the new ones.  I'm sure it is nothing exotic, since it is not bumping the price up by squat.  I created my own strip by mounting hospital grade outlets in an old metal framed cheap strip, and then wiring it up with decent quality 14 gauge wire, and that worked just fine for me.  I'm still using that strip... just plugged directly into the wall now.  It's ugly, but it works.
