Thanks much for that!!  Haven't we all dreamed about something like that...doing a duet or accompaniment with our favorite artist!!  Wow!  I bet he got laid that night!   8)

Waaaayyyyy cool !  It's not considered cool in some quarters to be a Billy Joel fan but I've always had a soft spot for that guy...
Say " YES " to talent. Say " NO " to hipster.

Kid's not bad on the keys, either.

I like these kinds of videos. It's always cool to see the guys who made it provide inspiration to the younger folks. BTW: I think "Turnstiles" and "The Stranger" are two of the best pop albums of the 70's  8)

The first record I held in my hands was Billy Joel's "Glass Houses".
Ever since, I've been a huge fan. To the extent, that I learned how to play piano because of Billy (but have since forgotten).
I don't think there's much cooler in life than to be this young man given this chance. If nothing more becomes of it, he will tell his grandchildren how he played for Billy Joel.
I imagine he'll have a huge smile every time he tells the story, regardless of how many times he tells it.

"New York State of Mind" is one of my favorite Joel tunes.
