Do some Google research to find that people in the know recognize that these two woofer models are the hidden very under-appreciated Gem in the vintage JBL speaker lineup...and fairly rare but still a great value!

These were once the top-tier 15" midbass woofers in the JBL lineup!

Awesome units for ANY type of speaker project holding ultra-Fi ambitions.

Great FAST bass down 35Hz, yet can be crossed as high as 1200Hz.

True "underhung" design!

They are about 28lbs each....!

I choose these over the TAD TL-1601 woofer series (which I have heard and not terribly impressed given the price).

These woofers are some extras I have collected over the years, but don't need them since I am 2-channel only.

These models are the only two JBL direct *design* descendents of the legendary JBL 150-4C used in the Paragon ($25K) and Hartsfield ($15K). The 150-4C sell for about $6000/pair to collectors sadly due to their rarity and historical value.

The "JBL DD55000" uses one E145 (code named "150-4H").
See Japanese dealer Youtube videos of "JBL DD55000" to hear the sound on good mics!
