An IC for folks who might be going to AXPONA, and would be interested in picking up any of these there to save on shipping (though I do have all the original boxes to ship these.
I got my VR-4 Gen IIs as part of a 7 speaker home theater set-up, but in my apartment, I just don't have the room to use these. So I am selling these extra speakers.
Particularly impressive are the VR-2100s, which would make stellar mains, or would be killer in a 2-channel system. The VR-2100s are a one box speaker with a side-firing 10" woofer. Like many Von Schweikert speakers it has a rear-firing ambiance tweater, with an adjustable dial). The VR-2100 was designed specifically for use in a home theater set-up. On one forum, a poster guessed that they were about "85 percent of the vr4" and that sounds about right to me (I run VR-4 Gen IIs in my main system). Those 2100s and the center channel speaker are really impressive speakers.
And that center channel LCR31 is pretty amazing too. A center channel speaker that goes down to 22 Hz!
Here is a summary of what I have available with descriptions of the speakers that I sent to a buddy recently:
Mains or some kick-ass Rears: VR 2100 Floor standing. 10" woofer in a
3 way design. Frequency range: 26-25kHz Unstained Cherry finish. 8/10
condition. 75# ea. Link;
http://www.vonschweikert.com/vrtheater/VRT-2100M.HTMCenter: LCR31 dual 7" woofer in a 3 way design. 8/10 condition.
Frequency response: 22Hz to 3OkHz Black finish. 52#. Link:
http://www.vonschweikert.com/vrtheater/LCR-31M.HTMSides/Rears: TS 200 5" woofer in a 3 way design. Black finish. 23# ea.
8/10 condition, used for only a short time. Not sure the difference in
the 200 vs. the 210 as there's no available info on the 200 on VS's
website. Here's the link to the 210:
http://www.vonschweikert.com/vrtheater/TS-210M.HTMIt would make for a pretty killer HT set-up, with those 2100s and the
center channel going down to the mid-20s. Hell, the smallest of the
speakers hits the mid-30s.
Shoot me a PM if interested. I am slammed with work today, but will figure out pricing by tonight sometime.
