He returned a fabulous 102B. Upon comparing the mods, they were almost identical to Response Audio

It will drive them and very nicely so but if you are looking for hard hitting dynamic control............ a little more power [may] be required.

Actually, these would be bias per the manual, I would still stay just shy of the 30mV setting. I also would not wait to long to at least check the bias. If they are running on the high side, it could damage or at least shorten tube life. I think UPS is trying to take away our customization business as they have cosmetically modified several pieces for me lately. That would be the Chicago connection? How is the out of town branch working for you? It sounds like a worse nightmare than out of town real estate. Lots of retail customers, I suppose. I have never lived there. Visited Barat College in the late 60's. Old Towne was cool.
