This is an exceptional collection in terms of condition and variety.

About 1500 LPs in excellent to NM (+/-) condition.
Many were played once, taped and stored.
Most have been unplayed for 25 years.
This collection is "primarily," but not exclusively, a broad range of rock, folk rock, etc.
with smattering of jazz and about 100 classical titles.

Price depends on title and discounts apply for bulk purchase.
Please PM email an address and I will send detailed spreadsheets including separate tabs for "A to Z" releases, imports, and audiophile titles plus a word doc describing the collection.
Thank you.

As of today I've sold 5 7 small to medium size groupings of albums.
99% of the imports and audiophile remain and much of the original collection.

If anyone wishes to spearheard a group buy for all the available titles, I will offer a substantial discount. Please see the "notes" doc, which I will email you, for further details. All LPs are and have been stored in custom built wood crates for 20 years and I will include the crates in the bulk purchase and work with you on shipping.  I package and ship very carefully, typically with an inner layer of cardboard and bubble wrap and then a box layer. A recent recipient even emailed back "Wow," when he received his well packaged selections.

One final note: I am working on a new project which requires 70 hours per week of my time. I will respond to requests for spreadsheets daily. However, it may take a couple of weeks to work through specific requests lists. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Edit: Someone sent me a long list which includes a bunch of ELO, Fleetwood Mac and Nilsson. Please try to get back to me this week if possible. Just trying to move forward with everyone's wish lists. Thank you. [I will remove this note when the outcome of this list is resolved.]

Hi,

This is strictly FYI.
I received a bunch of inquiries. About half of you guys did NOT send an email address.
FWIW, I simply don't know HOW to post an excel spreadsheet and a word doc on the site,
nor do I see how to PM those two docs. IF someone knows how to do so, please tell me.

So, PLEASE, double ck your PM and re-send IF you did not PM an email address. Thank you.

For all others, I've sent replies as of Saturday night at 9 pm. Thank you.

I may be mistaken, but this could be the same person who had an ad on audioasylumtrader several months ago.

If it is the same person, I confirmed that it is the same person and it appears that he is very busy and it takes a lot of patience to get things from him.

I ordered nine LPs as a test. The average price was about $7. Between his schedule/travel and my schedule/travel it took almost 2 months the get the LPs. But eventually I did get them. The communication had a lot of lag but was always friendly. THe merchandise was excellent quality. The LPs are pristine/near pristine and the covers are excellent. I wanted to buy more from him but I am waiting to hear from him what has already been sold.

He has an extensive collection that is well documented and seems to be very sincere and helpful

Thank you for posting that. I appreciate the feedback as I appreciate your patience.
[FYI, I did send a new list on 3/8/13. Please let me know if it did not arrive].

Yes, admittedly, I am very busy. I do email the lists quickly, but going through each person's wish lists takes time. It's also tricky when balancing lists with overlapping requests. And, often, since I'm going in order of requests, I have to wait for a reply in turn. And, a few times, people promised a payment and vaporized and that caused delays.  I'm just trying to explain the process, the OP is correct, there were some time delays.

Further, I always pull the albums and review each title carefully and provide the prospective buyer a brief description of each title's condition. In that regard, I aim to be very considerate, because let's face it, simply saying something is in "X" condition, may not tell you everything. Some LPs are practically flawless, but might contain one or two light scratches; some vinyl is NM-, but the jacket may have ring wear or a dinged corner, although I always focus on the vinyl condition. Anyway, I feel a brief description is valuable for everyone involved.

BTW, once all the records are reviewed by me, and THEN I "confirm" a sale and receive payment, then I do ship fairly quickly--within a few days.  And, I've either double boxed all of them or "created" an inner cardboard liner, bubbled wrapped that and then boxed again. I really do aim to be careful so everyone is treated fairly.

Thanks everyone.
And, thank you usp1 for your post.

Just to clarify my previous post...the items were shipped fairly quickly after I paid. The whole process took a bit longer because of busy schedules for both me and the seller.

Once again, excellent quality and good prices.

Just want to give a shout and holler for my bud sonicxtc. I just purchased a bunch of AC/DC and one Chicago album which I picked up personally. He is a gracious host, and a very fastidious, meticulous LP collector whose grades and descriptions are honest. Every single one of my records were either mint or near mint! The jackets are at least VG+ given their age. He also showed me his collection which is large indeed!

Just be patient as he wants to sell you his vinyl in an honest, efficient, and safe manner.

Best,
Anand.

Hi,
I corresponded with Charles and Roscoiii over the weekend.
Starkiller, I've just PMed you.

PLEASE, anyone who has not received a reply, send me a PM. Or, if you have already emailed me, please send a reminder and reference your AC name so I can keep this all in order.

Guys, other than a 70 hour work week often requiring travel, I am mostly waiting on people to follow through AFTER I've replied to their wish lists. A lot of lists have overlaps. Between albums and cds I've had about a dozen transactions and all has gone well. And, my feedback on other audio sites like Agon is perfect. This is a lot harder than selling a piece of audio gear. I'm doing the best I can and thank you for your patience.
Thank you everyone.
