You might also want to post your WTB on Audiogon. While the do come up your best bet is to work with someone who hasn't posted yet but is thinking of selling so they can upgrade.
This is what I did, paid $4 to post on Audiogon WTB thread and within 30 minutes a guy connected with me re: he had a perfect set of 3.7s with Mye stands that he wanted to unload to fund his next speaker project (horns).
Another thing is people make a big deal out of not wanting to ship them. No reason for this except I guess people are not willing to do the packing since the shipping part is fine, costs about $250 w/insurance via freight and no problem if packed properly as they came from the factory. All in all it worked out beautifully for both of us--I got a 99.9% new pair of 3.7s and Mye Stands for under $4,800 delivered. Saved well over $1,500 plus made a new connection in the audiophile world.
Have had them a week--they are intoxicating and other than the fact that my wife hasn't gotten much sleep past 9PM since I rolled them into the house all went perfectly
