Well, no May event, but we have two June events..
Sunday, June 9 from 1pm - 5pm turntable clinic at Daves
Saturday, June 22 from 11AM - 5PM @ Catastrope's

I sent an email to all the GAS guys regarding an event at TSR (The Sound Room) called "Music Matters", next Thursday night the 17th .
One of their employees is a customer of mine. I spoke with him today about the event, and he forwarded the email to me.
If you did not receive the GAS email, then you're not on the list. If you'd like to be, send me a message and I'll put you on the email list.

Anybody up for another meet at my place ? Not much new equipment, but lots of new music. Let me know when you guys are up for something.

BTW, going to see Britten's Peter Grimes on Saturday at the SLSO. This is their rehearsal for NY Carnegie Hall. Should be special. Only single seats available at this point.

BTW, I did get a new car stereo......from Bose. Came in a 2014 2-seat Chevrolet. Let you guess which model. Has a loudness adjustment !!

Ohh.....

Does it have a "stinger"...like a "Stingray"?
And does the loudness adjustment have anything to do with the pedal on the right?
And.....did you trade the GTO for it?

Hi, Bob. Good to hear from you. Its definitely a fish, and the loudness is controlled by a pedal. Here's a picture !!

I sold the GTO to an auto mechanic who says its "sweet as Tupelo Honey". The new ride is very nice but just stupid fast - almost too much for an old guy. The Bose Centerpoint audio system in it is pretty good - almost as good as the HK Logic 7 in the wife's MB....when you can hear it. The loudness control kind of gets in the way - like I said , just STUPID FAST. (A dude in New Jersey just ran 11.5 seconds in the 1/4 mile and trapped over 120 mph - completely stock. This thing pulls like the C6 Z06 - tons of low end torque, and with the A6 it can hook up on wet grass - there is some magic voodoo grease in this differential.)

Let me know a good date for you guys - I'm thinking a week or two after Thanksgiving.

That's one thing I miss about not working at the Chevy dealer anymore. I can't drive cool stuff anymore.
The Volvo's just don't "do it" for me like the American hot rods do.

Ok, so back on track....
I'm good for every Sunday until Christmas. I'm good for ever other Saturday (job) until Christmas.
So I'm pretty open.

What would you like folks to bring? Food, snacks, booze?
