Hi, Guys. Due to the major winter storm predicted in St. Louis for tonite and all day tomorrow, the NWS is warning that roads in the St. Louis area may become impassable by tomorrow afternoon. As a result, I have elected to cancel the GAS gathering at my house tomorrow, and reschedule for Sunday April 7th at 1-5 pm. Same place, same beer, same eats and same sounds.

Pleas accept my apologies, but I don't want anyone hurt, and it sounds like Sunday afternoon could be a real mess. Hope to see you all in a couple weeks !

Regarding an April get together at my place, I am thinking of having it April 20th and 21st. My thought was listeners could stop by either (or both) days. I thought the flexibility might work well. As far as time is concerned, we can start about one and go until whenever. Is this too close to Don's event? The last weekend of the month is also workable for me if a two week interval is too little.

Give me your thoughts as to these dates.

Either day is good for me. I don't think it's too close to Don's. I like having more meetings since it's been a while since we all dug out of the snow banks and had a listening session.

I am still planning a GAS get together for April 20 and 21. Come either or both days. The plan is to start around one PM.

Three systems will be up and running. The living room system has the Shuguang EL84 tube integrated that was used at Dave's. The speakers are Klipsch WF-35s--97dB floorstanders.

The main system now has an Esoteric player along with the Cary tube linestage, Primare amp and Maggies. At the back of the room are the Sony M-9s with McIntosh disc player and amp.

Bring your own beer and any silver discs you might want to hear. I am near Queeny Park. PM or call me for my address, directions, or with questions.

Thanks guys, gardening actually ... extreme gardening. The Orthopedic last night turned her into the bionic woman, complete with titanium plates and screws. She really did a number on the ankle, they gave us a bottle of bone chips taken out to prove it.

Kent - it looks like I will be able to slip away for a bit this weekend. My parents are coming up tomorrow to help out, so Heather will be in good hands
