Break In Time for an Audio Technica MC Cartridge

I just installed an Audio-Technica AT-OC9ML/II on my Dual 1019. Not sure if it is the best match regarding compliance, but I decided to give it a try. So far, after about 5 hours, it's sounding fantastic. What is the typical break in time?
This cartridge is on special at LPGear:
http://www.lpgear.com/product/ATC01.html
for $295.

50 hours generally does it for all cartridges, no matter the make, I've found.

Thanks, what exactly happens during the break in process?
What changes in the sound quality should I expect?
This is the first time I ever bought a brand new cartridge. This is all new to me.
