Early battery preamp for sale $1500
« on: 21 Feb 2013, 11:22 pm »
Hey all I am going to try an sell this for a friend in need of money and has to sell some stuff.
This is an early version of the original battery preamp that has the super hi gloss finish on super curly maple!
It is gorgeous to look at!!!
This one has been changed up quite extensively. first off it has been change to a 12 volt systen and it is very versatile!
It can be used with the 4 batteries inside it which are now all in parallel for 20AH worth of battery. When used like this you simply connect the supplied C-Tek Charger to the Neutric connector on the back of the preamp and your good to go on internal batteries. Or you can leave the batteries out and use a small external battery to which the charger would also be connected. Or you can opt out of battery power altogether,(i don't know why anyone would) and use a hi quality quiet 12 volt external power supply. Many ways to power this baby!!
It has been converted to a 6H30 single tube module with selectable gain settings of unity, +6db,+12db with the selector switch on the rear of the preamp. The volume control has also been upgraded to the new way that doesn't have the buzzing and clicking sound of the relays. It will have a EH-6H30 gold pin tube in it. It has new batteries in it as well and will be supplied with a C-Tek US3300 charger. It can be packed and shipped imediately!
It is a beauty and sounds absolutely wonderful!!!

Input impedance is 100K and the output impedance with a 6H30 tube is less than 100 ohms.

Hello I have had this preamp in my system now for about 2 weeks and I must say that whoever gets this
beauty is in for a treat! It is absolutely stunning in it's presentation and dead quiet in doing so. I believe what it is being offered for it is a deal of a lifetime and it's fully broken in! :thumb:
