Selling all portable headphone gear which is the only reason I'm parting with this dac. This is a standard Halide DAC HD (see glowing reviews all over the place for this dac) which was modified for me by the guys at Halide to be more convenient for use with portable headphone amps (such as the ALO National and Continentals I'm also selling). The usb cable has been shortened to .5m (but is still the same custom Wireworld Starlight cable) and the output connections have been shortened and terminated with a switchcraft right angle stereo 3.5mm plug. Strap this to the back of a portable amp (silicone straps not included) and plug into a laptop for a great portable system.
This is not some DIY hack job but custom built for me by Halide. Everything but the cable lengths and the output connector are the same as the normal DAC HD.
