Anyone using Thunderbolt devices?

I saw that Gigabyte has a new consumer motherboard with the Intel technology, Thunderbolt. So now that Apple is not the exclusive provider of Thunderbolt tech, we can get non-apple monitors, drives, external video cards, hubs, etc. that use this tech.

It would be good to have more devices available. However Apple don't make any TB accessories, apart from the TB display and I don't really see the point of that.

One thing I simply don't understand are the single-HDD Thunderbolt drives. I guess it saves you using the USB port...

Anyway I'm using a LaCie Thunderbolt ESATA hub with a pair of OWC Dual Mini enclosures, one with two HDDs in RAID 1 and one with two Intel SDDs in RAID 0. The latter is my boot drive and is giving me about 230 MB/s sequential (I think it was...) but the random read/write for small files is very fast. The monitor is daisy chained into it's Display Port from the TB hub.
