SOLD SOLD

Hey folks, up for sale are my Meadowlark Shearwaters.   Original owner, purchased from Upscale Audio, and only used with Cary, Arcam, and Luxman amps.

Wish I could get the image the right way...

Featuring the Scan Speak mid-woof that is used in many more expensive applications.  Easy load for tubes, and tremendous bass response, going lower than my REL sub in my room.

I have original boxes and the socks, which use fishing line and are cumbersome and ugly; you'll leave them off probably.  Only issue is that some laminate is separated a small amount, and can be fixed with speaker glue or left alone (you can't see it in the attached picture). I just found a small chip near the bottom of one speaker. I will throw in my set of biwire DH Labs cable, dealer demos.

This model is wired with DH Labs Silver Sonic, and isn't the model wired with Cardas.

Like everyone else selling stuff that weighs 70 pounds apiece, I'd prefer a local sale but will ship at buyer's expense.

I can say with confidence that there is no truly full range speaker out there that you can drive with tubes at anything approaching this price (new list was 2500, I paid about 2200) - $750 plus shipping.  Possible delivery

on a weekend within a couple hour drive of southern Michigan.

I keep my stuff for a long time so I only have two feedbacks, both good, on the 'Gon.  Longtime lurker here who sought refuge after years of abuse on the Asylum.

It would be very, VERY hard to find a better speaker for this kind of money.  Meadowlarks are scary good deals since the company is gone.  I gots me a pair of the Hot Rod version and I won't be selling them any time soon.

What's local?

Southern Michigan, like from Kazoo to the Detroit area or thereabouts

Folks the offers from the gon are getting close to my ask so please let me know if you're interested.  I just quoted $122 for shipping to the east coast for both, so it's not crazy expensive, and these will be put in their original boxes for shipping.
Thanks
