Fit a round peg in a square hole not happening

Frig I'm pissed,I thought I'd try some diffusion in my drop ceiling for an experiment.
Found out these can only go in one way as there is only a lip on two sides,so the Fn thing will fall out or one way orientation(wells side to side).

I should add that Gik's gridfusors have a lip around the whole outside so you can orientate the wells straight ahead or sideways if so desired.                                                                                                                                                                                          These fall out :wtf:,BS.

If you buy an extra cross tee......home depot.....you can change the orientation of the grid for that one tile.
Simply cut the one in half and add the new one across, will snap right in. It can be returned to original in a few minutes.
like this:

New Tee is the black line, the scribble is the cut out......sorry, not much of an artist.

Hi PDR,I knew I could do that but having Gik gridfusors before where you can put them in facing anyway you want as they have the lip all away around I thought these would just go in,until I took a closer look and tried to install.
Like they say go with the tried and true.
If I send them back,i'll get 30.00 back after shipping,NEVER FN again.
PS,THX for the pict.

Weird..

A solution could be to cut the two ends that do fit into the grid off, and attach a board that is slightly larger than the diffusor (maybe some sort of hard cardboard or thin hardboard) to the back, so you can turn it 90 degrees.

Yes Alex it is,I double checked the site and looking real close there is the two sides with NO LIP.
There are as others have mentioned ways around it but I didn't think I would have to as I have had GIK Grifusors and they fit in no matter how I orientated them.
I assumed that they would have the lip all around also.
The reason I bought them was to see if I liked diffusion at my side walls(first reflections),which I do now.
Then I thought of trying diffusion again on my ceiling and that's when I discovered  that they won't stay in unless doing some mods to my ceiling, not that it's that big of a deal(BUT).
Least it was only a couple hundred+shipping, could be worse.
Of course I could buy a few more but then I'd have to install  T's so they will fit which is extra work.
I just should have looked closer on the site, should have went GIK end of story.
