SoundLab Upgrade

Here's a blurb from the Feb 2013 TAS:
SoundLab, known for its legendary line of electrostatic loudspeakers, has just introduced a super toroidal audio transformer that is available as an update for older models or as an option on most current models.
It is already included as standard equipment aboard the vaunted M1-PX and other premium SoundLab models.
SoundLab claims that the new transformer has noticeably improved clarity, provides 3 dB greater sensitivity and can handle higher signal voltages.
Additionally, the new toroidal transformer is capable of handling lower frequencies without saturation for tighter bass response.
Price: $2250/pr.  www.sound-labspeakers.com

I was aware that the new toroidal transformer was in the pipeline but did not know the price.
Thanks for letting us know the price.
It would be great to hear from someone who has heard it.
