This BDP-1 is the 19" faceplate in silver and has the current firmware that allows NAS streaming. Sound quality is fantastic into my Metrum Octave especially on 24/192 HD recordings. I've since been spending more time on analog and both the BDP-1 and Now thinking about funding a new phono stage. There is no sonic difference between the BDP-1 and the BDP-2 per Bryston.
