The Signature 16 is now in production. It is part of our Renaissance Edition (RE) line-up, and it is based on the Sig 15. The price has increased by $495, but compared to the Signature 15, it offers:
- Our new RE tube stage, which offers a more open sound and allows you to switch in 6922s and 12AX7s (flipping an on-board mini-toggle switch to set the filament voltages).
- Updated MOSFET output stage pushes a little more power (16w/32w into 8/4-ohm) and has 3x the rail capacitance - so it's definitely offers improved dynamics.
- New enclosure! Our website shows our new front and side panels in real solid wood maple, cherry, or walnut, laser engraved. A polished top-plate with 3 thumb screws allows for easy access to the inside for tube rolling. Knobs are also polished.
- New remote - solid aluminum and polished end caps, laser engraved.
- 3-way power mode switch.... 1) Off/Charging, 2) On/Charging, 3) On/Pure Battery driven.
- Optional Single-ended headphone stage (The same one we use in the Cassabria and Bellina HPA)
- Tube preamp outputs (as shown at T.H.E. driving the Liliana Monoblocks).
- 10 year warranty!
We also offer the Signature 16 as a power amp, and upon special request, and make them as monoblocks.
