Anyone have an interest in a pair of Infinity RS 4b speakers. What was there sound?

I luved the old early 80's big Reference Stand 2 b's with the Oak Panel cabinets. That sound still haunts me to this day. Those were "Live" sounding speakers

The sound is pretty good mid-fi, IMO. Good detail and transparency, but the driver integration and balance had real issues. They were not the best of their day (I have a soft spot for ADS L1090s in that size and price range), and not up to good modern speakers. Should be bought cheaply; for $2-300 or less they're good value. You can buy Monitor Audio RS6 of similar size for about $500 used and they will smoke either in all respects, IMO.
