High impedance headphone for Red Dot mk iii ?

High impedance headphone for Red Dot mk iii ?

Can anyone recomend a good over the ear headphone for  Red Dot MKiii amp ? $250.00 range mainly listen rock and occasional jazz.

If you're talking about the Little Dot Mkiii, then look for a clean pair of
Sennheiser hd600's or 650's.  If you want strong bass and highs, look
at the Beyer 990, 600 ohm.  Another isssue is if you want closed or open
back cans.  For closed, the Denon 2000, the Phillips Fidelio line and the
Audio Technica line have phones in your price range.

is there a significant difference  between the Beyer 990   and 880  -- 600 ohm headphones.  Price point is not too  big .

The 990 is less neutral...more bass and treble.
