There are a couple reasons why I want to sell or trade this amp. Firstly, I want a new sweet ass preamp and don't want to spend any money. Secondly, I just want to try something different.
I have a Empirical Audio Turbomodded Adcom 585 stereo amp w/ V-caps for sale. This thing is modded to the hilt and is stuffed with v-caps. I'm very one the fence with this amp, I waited for years to get it and pretty much know when it's gone it's gone for good. I'm looking to simplify my system a little bit and am going from a biamp setup to a single amp. My other amp is Bill Baker's personally owned and modded Jolida 801a, which I'm keeping. The amp does have a small dent on the side, but no scratches and performs flawlessly.
I'm not sure what it's worth, but if someone wants it for cash, I'm thinking around $1250. It's pretty much one of a kind as infrequently as they're for sale. Who knows I might keep it--I really like this amp--but I'm kind of wasting it on sub duty.
