One of the greatest bands ever. Just shows you don't have to be all prog to write great songs. Those sings simply haven't aged a day.

I am a beginner guitar player and I just learned my favorite song "I don't wanna go down to the basement" in five minutes, the whole damn song. And it's a riot to play along with my stereo cranked.

Now to learn Blitzkrieg Bop and I can sleep happy  :thumb:

He did have an awesome voice for that band, it couldn't  have been any more perfect. I always liked this one

This song also good. Singing screaming ruin the throat vocal cords.
Adele screamed a lot and had surgery the cords.

Some friends and I are going to begin practicing music together, I think Ramones is actually the perfect way to start, nice and easy. It's easy to play but it's also quite a workout, lots of double stops and chords and relentless fast strumming. If we can bang out a cover of that album front to back we'll have accomplished something.

Hey I hadn't heard that one, that's a good one too. See proof that simple music can be good too, it doesn't always have to sound like musical spaghetti to be worthy.

The tendons in my left hand are rigid, dont do the positions on the scale and start to hurt fast.

It's not expensive, and can mimick any sound really, and you don't have to press down hard (there's no strings on the fretboard)

Thanks for the tip.
I even had a Telecaster, a Hartke HA3500 and a 4x10 cabinet I do myself.
But the whole thing is in the hands, the guitar sound great even without amplification.
The prob Iam too lazy... the Tele is 8 years in the case. :green:

I just finished watching Rock and Roll High School on Netflix. It kicked Zappa's "200 Motels" right in the nuts, both films rock band based shlock from the 70's. Again proving simpler can be better. Both suck, but the Ramones flick is watchable and the musical performance is awesome.

When my friends and I play I want us to do like the Ramones and not stop playing, just blast right into the next song, freaking awesome. 1 2 3 4!

The Ramones, IMHO, are the most overrated band of all time. Well, maybe second most overrated behind the Sex Pistols.

exactly  :green: They nailed the concept of the dirt simple rock song that was listenable. People still like the Ramones. Pure Energy.
