These speakers retail for $2900/pair. They were returned to Thiel when one unit developed an occasional buzz. Thiel tested both units and replaced the driver in one. They are still sealed in the box from Thiel. I have downsized my living room system and no longer need these, hence the cheap price. They are in good condition but not perfect, as they have been wall mounted, but cosmetically they are fine. Great for surround or for front L/R.
