I thought it might be putting men on the moon or banging the rocks together to make fire; but I am now convinced that putting magnets on the back of the speakers to hold the grills is the most genius idea in the history of man.I went to try that on my SCSTs. No luck .
I don't know if I was the first to recommend that in the Salk forum, but 2-1/2 years ago I posted that I had seen grills stored on the back of another speaker (might have been Polk, but not necessarily with magnets) and suggested that another set of magnets on the rear to store grills would be too cool.http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=82707.msg797593#msg797593Steve
Last night I had the opportunity to listen to Jim's Cherry Veracity HT2-TL's in person. This was my first time listening to Salks and "Wow!" is about all I can say! Jim is a gracious host, and he takes a lot of pride in his equipment, and as a result, these speakers are in great condition. These are a bit more speaker than I currently need, but I'd highly recommend buying from Jim.
HI. I'm in Alexandria Va. and looking for some salks. Where are you located?
