Kuzma 9 inch reference or Stabi S -12 VTA arm
« on: 8 Jan 2013, 04:18 am »
I am trying to decide on whether to go with the 9 in. reference arm or the newer 12 inch Stogi S with VTA tower.

Has anyone compared the older reference arm(s) to the longer Kuzma arm(s)? I understand that if the 12 inch arm/cartridge is "expertly" set-up it will outperform the shorter Ref. arm. even though the shorter arm is more expensive. Of course there are no A B comparisons to be found in my neck of the woods.

Good luck getting a comparo in this neck of the woods, or even a simple comment on the older Stogi Reference which has been around for 20 years.  I own and love it,  and would choose it over many of the popular darlings around here, but Kuzma just doesn't have much name recognition.  On the longer 12 inch arm, I'd be very surprised if there is any feedback at all.

I think you'd have better luck on one of the European boards.
