Wouldn't that violate the premise of a true blind test?

That is something I am going to do when the discs finally are returned to me. It won't be entirely accurate, but I will download it into ProTools then rip a copy to another file and do a comparison to a straight down load vs a ripped to file and then reloaded into Protool version of cryo and noncryo discs. I can then do an error comparison and waveform com[arison frane by frame to see if there are any differences. Surely not forensically accurate, but close enough for rock and roll.
I'll do a little research and see if there are more precise ways to do this. I haven't really kept up with forensic audio since I quit doing work for the APD some years ago.
