Indeed, Happy New Year!

In the coming year, may you not find yourself...
...engulfed by fire
...swept away by wind
...crushed by landslide
...swallowed by flood
...devoured by disease
...distorted by dementia
...at the wrong end of a gun
...picked clean by big banking and their government cronies

The sad truth is that all of the above and more will touch this planet in the coming year. Yet, we sometimes argue over the most trivial matters as though they were as vitally important as what I mentioned in this depressing Happy New Year wish. The community lost someone very near and dear quite recently (there were, of course, others). The stuff we discuss is not life and death, nor are there absolutes when it comes to perception. Let's disagree with respect. It's a foregone conclusion that we will never all ascribe to one identical philosophy, and who would wish such a crushing uniformity in place of the marvelously diverse group of individuals we have here? Long live diversity.

Happy New Year Everyone!

Peace. (as in, peaceful disagreement – includes lively debate without ad hominems)

Most of all – Have Fun! (while you can )

A very Happy New Year to all  :D

Tonights plan at the Laundrew household is to enjoy a few movies and finger food.

Be well...
