We will have a few couples over for NYE and I am looking for suggestions for party music (i.e. "non-critical listening"  ).  I am thinking of just downloading a select few songs on iTunes and playing them via the Squeeze box on the AV system.  Ages will range from 40 to 70.  Looking for fun songs to play in the background, as well as songs to play at or around midnight. 

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, there are some very good suggestions in there.

The Mony, Mony suggestion sparked my imagination.  I download Mony, Mony, Louie Louie, Hang On Sloopy, Dirty Water, In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida, and a few others.

I also download fun and cheesy songs, such as My Sherona and Macorana.
