Putting my beautiful Salks HT-3's up for sale.  I want to try high efficient crossover-less speakers with low watt Set amps.

My Salks have these upgrades:
Burled veneer cabinets and base plates
Solid Claro walnut baffles
Hand rubbed lacquer finish
Upgraded Sonicaps
Blackhole 5 cabinets
Custom color speaker grills
I'll rate them 8/10 only because they are 5 years old, otherwise very good to excellent.

 If you bought them now would cost close to $8,000.00 USD.
 Asking $4,000.00.

 Local pickup preferred. I might be willing to deliver, if not to far.

I heard these babies at his home. A liitle big for the room but dam they were good. The finish is superb and all the extra goodies one wants in place.

I've also heard these speakers at Joe's place and they sound incredible. As good as they look in the pictures, seeing them in person is a big fat WOW.

If you audition these, better bring cash and a large vehicle, cause you will be taking them home with you.

Having seen these in person at Joe's lovely home, I can honestly say these are the most beautiful pair of Salk speakers I've ever seen... & they sound great to boot!

Joe is a meticulous audiophile with all his gear! He rates these speakers 8/10 but they are closer to a perfect "10"

Someone will be very, very lucky to go home with this pair...

Wow!  Nice-looking speakers!  I know they are not very efficient.  What amp are you using to power them?  I've got 200 watts @ 8 ohms and 400 @ 4 ohms.  Will that be enough?

I am using a Spectron. 400 watts into 4ohms should be plenty.
What amp do you have? Is your the room really big and do you like to play at very high sound levels?

What is the amp?  These babies will take very watt you can throw at them.

I have a Modwright KWI 200 integrated.  200 per channel at 8 ohms, 400 at 4 ohms.

The room is not very big.  Maybe 13 x 15.

I'm in an apartment so I can't play them as loud as I would like to at times.  My old ears can't take too much of that anymore.

Mine take everything that you throw at them in terms of power etc. What really makes them come to life is the quality of the components upstream.
