Anyone else hear the latest Todd Rungren CD - Liars?

Great Stuff. I caught him on the David Letterman Show performing one of the songs called Soul Brother. Very much a studio-effects and heavy-synth CD. So, not what you would think of as Audio-Approved, but good sound and well executed.

The critics are calling the release one of his career-bests.

Did you know he is the pioneer of direct-downloadable music?

He has a great voice and some catchy songs. also a good studio production.

I finally bought Ra by Utopia after first hearing it back in the 70's. "Glass Guitar" is one of those songs that really show off the melodic goodness and studio production.

I will have to check out this new one.

Thanks, jqp - I'll have to get Ra. I have always liked Rungren's Utopia stuff but don't have a lot of experience with the older, probably much better, music.

He is quite a creative guy, no doubt about that. 8)

Saw Todd in LA a long time ago and know alot about him and his music. Good to see some of the old Pro's doing some great work.

I have heard Eric Burdon has an excellent CD out also, but have not heard it yet.

Thanks for the update!
