Hi.
What about the Vinyl guys. Are they doomed to listen to MP3's for all eternity?

I am a bigtime vinyl fan. Being so busy lately, I don't even have time to play the 7 classical LPs I picked up from my favourtie thrift store 2 weeks back...

Why so busy? I am transferring my favourite music from LPs & cassette tapes to DVD+R on my DVD burner & then ripping the burnt DVD+Rs to MP4 via a special software in my labtop to USB sticks.

The idea is my favourite music can go with me whenever I am away on trip, played via a USB reader on headphone.

Music mobility - a home away from hom, musically. Can't be too picky on the quality of mobile music, right?
Something is better than nothing.

Likewise, I never like going for any fast food, but I'd still take a burger lunch while I'm on the run.

So I guess the funeral home would transfer all your LPs to digital files.  :dunno:

Yip, me too. I'm not so arrogant to feel the need to take up the plot of real estate for all of eternity.
Burn my ass, spread me somewhere cool, say a few (kind?) words and have a party.

Bob I come from the land where most of us are burnt at a pyre when our souls find no further use for the physical form but a New Orleans style one wold be good too. The again my wife might use all the wood I used for my speakers as fire wood.

A mixture of the two would suit me just fine. After the torching, my loved ones could have a party!  :D

The video is less than two minutes long and is safe to watch at work.

Story >> HERE <<.

I wasn't sure which Circle to put this thread in, but "Enclosures sure seemed most appropriate.  :icon_twisted:
Ok....I know there are some good comments, so let's here them boys.

Batteries not included?  Or do you have to have a powerline run to your grave?

That'll work.  Lost in the Ozone is one of my most treasured albums.

Hi Napalm and all Audio Circle members.
I guess you need two for stereo !
How about the power output?
Are we talking here about .00001 watt?
Is it available in tube version?
What's the frequency response?
20-20K +- 0.5 db.?
Once it fails, is it a throw away type?
I don't think that one is for me, I prefer over the ear type.

Probably one of those switches is to bypass the other switches for better SQ.

Yes, you can take it (your music) with you!  :D Check it out... A hifi digital sound system designed for coffins. It includes a "bone-rattling" 8 inch subwoofer! Also includes a screen readout to let your loved ones know what you are listening to.

Not sure if mahogany or some other material would offer the best bass response.

You're just a little late to the party RPM, we already have a thread on this, as of this moment directly below yours.

Maybe we'll just combine the two.

Which is now done.
