Got it already, but does "extremely limited" release really mean this thing can go up in value and become scarce in the future? Or will we be looking at new available sets for years to come...Hmmmmm

Considering all the issues with the Beatles Box Set vinyl quality, not one I would order from PopMarket. My experience with their customer service was frustrating when I had problems with an order.

And considering what I have read about the quality of the US pressings, I think I would spend for a box set or individual LPs that were pressed in Europe. Rainbo strikes again for the US sets!

It's really frustrating when these humongous billion dollar bands cannot have good vinyl releases.  I bought the new "The Evens" album last week, probably as low budget as you can get, and the sound is out of this world.

Wondered if you'd pop up with that question Paul. The Evens are a duo of Ian MacKaye (of Fugazi fame) on baritone guitar and his partner (wife now?) on drums.

Fugazi is my all time favorite punk band who then veered towards post-rock in their final 2-3 albums (masterpieces IMHO). MacKaye formed The Evens sometime after Fugazi's last album. The Evens are a much more mellow band (Fugazi without the punk sound, you might say).

They have 3 albums out. All excellent. And their label (run by MacKaye) is dedicated to keeping music affordable.

A link (albums are on the left hand side of the page):

Fugazi Repeater - greatest punk album ever!

All of the The Evens albums sound spectacular.  It's a very stripped down sound.

Repeater is great as is 13 songs (5 Songs and Margin Walker LPs combined on 1 CD).

And then there is the great musicality of End Hits and The Argument.

You know what. Maybe it is becoming a Fugazi kind of day...
