FS: Denon 103LC II (similar to 103R)

Hi folks,

For sale is a Denon 103LC cart with approx 100 hrs on it.

The specs on this cart are very close to the 103R. The only differences are that the LCs have LCOFC copper instead of 6N copper (from what I can tell LCOFC appears to be a superior to 6N). And the impedance is 1 ohm lower (a good sign, and likely due to the different copper quality). The LC is also a limited edition cart, so I imagine that there was greater attention to detail than the more mass produced 103R. These are the reasons I chose the LC over the 103R. But now I am moving on to a new cart, so this one needs to go.

A great LOMC cart. Don't think you'll find a better LOMC at this price.

$OLD, incl shipping to the CONUS.

Is this a mid-80's vintage product?

Yes, it appears to be a limited edition (=greater attention to detail than the more mass produced Denond) from 1986. Here are more details:

1986 : DL 103 LC II – LCOFC copper coils, 13ohms, output 0.25mV,
spherical stylus, compliance 5cu, VTF 2.5 +/- 0.3grams

The LC and LC II appear to be their first low impedance version of the 103 (even the revered 103D had an impedance of 33 ohms).

I will try to get some up when I get home.

Apologies in advance for my poor photography skills.
