Wall to ceiling corner treatment for angled walls
« on: 12 Dec 2012, 04:55 pm »
To treat the corners where the walls and ceilings meet, the standard triangle deal looks like the way to go (thanks to RealTraps for the below pic off the web)

But what if one has an angled wall, such as below? This isn't my listening room, just an example off the web. In my case, the 45 degree upper sections are about 18" wide (top to bottom) and located on the front and rear walls, in relationship to the speakers (Magnepan MMGs):

Do I use the same treatment, at all the intersecting points? The bass trap panels I have will go up to the bottom of where the angled wall starts, maybe skip the triangles there?.

You can use flat panels straddling the junctions in the front of the room to get some bass control.  On the one behind you, personally I would use diffusion there.
