Windows 8 sound quality?

Folks, anyone knows how good is the sound quality (bit streaming) under W8? a huge improvement over w7?

considering here to upgrade my OS, depending on the benefits.

It is an improvement over Win7 in my setup, but not as huge as Win7 was over WinXP.

The new interface is very different and takes time to get use to. 

There was a trial version of Win 8 available for download from MS.  You might want to try that before buying a copy and see what you think.

I was evaluating two Dacs a few months ago - Schiit Bifrost and MDHT Havana (modded) and didn't notice any difference in Windows 7.. Until I tried out Windows 8 and was able to notice a very audible difference between the dacs.  Stuck with and bought Windows 8 as soon as it came out .

Definitely worth trying out :)
