OK Folks,
Christmas time again. :thumb:
I know it that my favorite one  cannot be enjoyable for most.
But do not forget that if you listen to this kinds of guitar riffs, then everyday is Christmas. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Great idea for a topic PRELUDE  :thumb:

Oh please be still my most tender, beating heart full with anticipation of Christmas just around the corner. Shimmering black bows upon delicately, black gift wrapping paper - all over shadowed by the fleeting radiance of a tree that is slowly surrendering to death. Dreams of new gargoyles, pentagrams, ceremonial robes and perhaps an album from Anna-Varney Cantodea or a  camera to better document those special cemetery visits. One can only be in awe.

But most importantly, it is a time to share with your special loved ones.

"Let it snow," the version by  Gloria Estefan, with the jazzy big band brass (and synth) shout and Count Basie saying "one more time" at the end.

For me it used to be anything from the Elvis Christmas album my gran bought me when I 9 but now it has to be -

Bruce Springsteen - 'Santa Claus is coming to Town' and also Bruce again with 'Merry Christmas Baby' :)

It's one of the reasons Christmas is so much fun, I get to bring out 2 classic Bruce songs every year to help get me into the xmas spirit.

Now I feel guilty.

You know how when you buy up music collections you sort through everything and put it in a category. Well the Christmas stuff somehow doesn't really make it into the main collection. I confess mine is hidden back in the rear with a lot of core Rap & hard punk I never listened to. Now I feel shamed and am going to have to go out and build a Christmas tree CD rack and mend my ways.

I like some of the older classics, but I think my fav is Bowie and Bing.

Aside from the already-mentioned, and the classics like Nat's Christmas Song (which I own in DSD..WOW!) I like this less-traveled path:
