Need help finding power cord termination adaptor
« on: 16 Nov 2012, 11:01 pm »
I have an 15A aftermarket power cord that has the typical three prong IEC audio power amp US termination (IEC C15).

However, I'd like to use this power cord on a Denon AV amp, which looks like it requires a two prong IEC  C17 termination.

Can anyone point me to an adaptor that I could use? Thanks for your help.

Here:  http://www.amazon.com/Pangea-IEC-C7-Adapter-Standard/dp/B003K1K71I/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1353107345&sr=8-1&keywords=c7+adapter

You can also purchase it directly from Audio Advisor.

I have one I can send you. PM me if interested.

You're good to go. Your standard c13/15 IEC on your cord will fit the IEC C18 inlet  on your Denon just fine. The Denon's inlet just doesn't have the safety ground blade to go into the C13/15's safety ground slot.
