Is there an optimal distance from the speaker to place my 242's that are on stands. I have a 1-4 foot range (out away from, not forward and back) where i can still see the tweeter in the mirror.

Sorry about the delay on someone getting back to you. I would place the panels centered between the 2 points. Better yet though I would use 2 panels to totally cover the area.

thanks for the reply. I was questioning these two different options. They are slightly exaggerated but just for clarity.

I would probably go closer to stop more sound from getting into the other room to bounce around to start with.
