position of harp(s) in orchestra

Is harp always placed on orchestra right?

I'm fairly sure I've seen it stage left.

Isn't that stage left? :p

I know that during rehearsals, the harps were always on stage left, but when it came to performances, I didn't really notice because I had other things to worry about, so I didn't want to say for sure

I believe that's orchestra/stage right.

I was listening to Scheherazade from Reference Recording and it sounded as though harps were on orchestra/stage left (audience right).

The last time I played Scheherazade with an Orchestra, the harps were just inside (towards the center) of the bass violas.
