I have a brand new pair of Eminence Beta 12LTA for sale $120. I am the 2nd owner, the previous owner removed the dustcaps, put them on an open baffle and played about 2 hours, he then decided they would require a baffle too wide for his space (sounded like he had help making that decision ;-D ). When I recieved them I hooked them up to verify they worked and put them back in their boxes.
My plan was to build my son some speakers for his bedroom and to take to his dorm next year, but the resulting speaker will be too large so I have decided to go another route and build some bookshelf speakers.
I purchased some wooden Easter Eggs for use as phase plugs (I believe these are the same eggs Poultrygeist is using with his Beta 12LTAs), they are unpainted and I haven't added the screws in the bottom that will hold them to the magnet.
I can supply pics when I get home tonight if you are interested.
