Audioholics GTG show report
« on: 5 Nov 2012, 03:35 pm »
After almost a month on the road, things are finally starting to settle down.

First, I would like to thank all the people who visited us at RMAF and at the Audioholics GTG in Florida.  It was really great putting faces to names and meeting a lot of new people.  It is a lot of work exhibiting at these shows, but the personal interactions make it all worth while.

We had a great time at RMAF this year.  Not only did we receive tons of positive comments in our room, but the Bud Fried room generated a lot of buzz as well.

The Audioholics event, in comparison, was quite small.  But this allowed people to spend more time with each of the vendors.  People didn't seem to be as overwhelmed and glassy-eyed at the GTG.  It was a more relaxed environment over all.

We got a lot of positive feedback for both the SoundScape 8's and the Supercharged SongTowers we brought to the GTG.  But the hit of the day was probably the little RAAL/Illuminator (un-named at present) monitors.  We brought a new AVA ABX switch that allowed us to switch back and forth between the volume-adjusted speakers and it was fun watching people's reactions every time we switched to these little speakers.  Gene DellaSala wants to do a review of them, so you can probably look for that early next year.

Again, thanks to everyone who visited our rooms at these two shows.  It was great fun.

Congratulations Jim and Frank!

All the accolades well deserved

Take solace that every time you display at a show, no matter how much work hauling things around you bring in a whole new crowd of admirers

Well done

Now if I can get my hands on one of those ava abx switches
