I am considering the sale of this fine amp, however I am not sure yet if I really want to let it go. That said, this is an interest check. It is in excellent shape and has been upgraded at the McCormack of Virginia factory to "R-1" status (similar to the current version). It was serviced at the factory late last year and they replace a few caps. Other than a few marks on the binding posts, this amp is in fine condition. Please drop me a note if you are interested.

Other than the obvious 3rd channel, how does this one compare in the company line-up?

The DNA-1/R-1 is a two channel stereo amp. Without checking, I believe it is 220w/ch at 8ohms. According to what I know, for the R-1 revision, McCormack Audio of Virgina (not to be confused with Steve himself) installs a board that effectively makes the R-1 into a "current production version". Steve McCormack has stated that the R-1 is similar to his Rev B.
